Drew Grifo is Principal and co-founder of Commonwealth Capital Brokerage, LLC. Drew has been in the insurance and financial services industry for the past 11 years, having worked for one of the nation’s largest banks along with a specialty finance company focusing on life insurance and longevity-based assets. During this time, Mr. Grifo was responsible for developing strategic alliances with insurance, trust, legal and accounting professionals throughout the United States. Drawing on this experience, Drew set out to create a brokerage general agency that serves as an extension of the advisor’s office and collaborates with financial experts in a range of fields to bring the best planning strategies to the client.
Mr. Grifo is a recognized speaker for a variety of trade associations including The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, The Estate Planning Council and The Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Drew received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and holds his Series 7, 63 and Life Insurance licenses. He currently resides in Wayne, PA with his wife and two children.
Stephen J. Ruggieri

Steve Ruggieri is Principal and co-founder of Commonwealth Capital Brokerage, LLC. Seeing an opportunity to enhance the insurance brokerage experience, Mr. Ruggieri co-founded CCB with the vision of creating a true partnership with the professional advisor. Steve has a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by the retail producer. As such, he focuses on helping the advisor navigate these challenges and execute the best solution in the right way.
Prior to CCB, Steve served as a Regional Vice President for a financial services company specializing in life insurance and longevity-based assets. During that time, Steve was responsible for developing relationships with insurance agents, financial advisors, accountants, and attorneys throughout the country. Mr. Ruggieri is a regular speaker for a variety of professional associations, including The Estate Planning Council, The Society of Financial Service Professionals, NAIFA and First Financial Resources.
Steve received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and currently holds his Series 7, 63 and Life Insurance licenses. He currently resides in Bryn Mawr, PA with his wife and three children.
